BAYFA will be forming U9 Academy teams in the Boys and Girls Divisions for the upcoming fall season. This is an opportunity for all U9 players who are looking to improve their skills and play in at a higher level without having to travel out of the area to achieve that level of training. Our plans are to expand the program as it grows with the addition of U10 in the spring and U6 through U8 in the Fall of 2010.
Academy soccer programs are designed for higher level developmental training of younger soccer players. BAYFA Academy FC is dedicated to providing a challenging yet rewarding experience for youth soccer players by developing skills that are above normal recreational levels. Our coaches and trainers have the knowledge and proficiency to work with the younger players. All coaches utilized in this program will be licensed NTSSA coaches teaching skills involving technical and tactical training using approved NTSSA teaching concepts and techniques.
Academy Soccer is a year-round program divided into two seasons: Fall and Spring. This program requires a commitment to one practice during the week plus a weekend game that is separate from your player’s recreation team’s schedule. There will also be additional Academy Skills training sessions offered for all age groups who want to improve their skills included in the registration fee. Players are required to wear their Academy T-shirt to all Academy practices and skills training sessions. Players are also required to be at the scheduled games 30 minutes before the scheduled start time in full uniform, ready to play. Players will be required to participate with their recreational practices/games and Academy practice/games.
